Monthly Archives November 2012
These are very sad words to type and say. My Dad passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 after a short illness. He was at home, in his own bed, with Mom knitting beside him. I can’t think of a better way to go.
I’ll be putting together some photos and stories of him . . . later . . . .
Garland and his girlfriend Meghan came over for a visit.
Today I’m thankful for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, the roof over our head keeping us dry (hoping for some rain today, that would be more to be thankful for!), a wood fire to keep us warm, plenty of food to cook and eat, family to share it with, and love all around us.
Every time we drive through Greenfield, Missouri, I see this and want to photo it. I finally got one, though the weeds obscure it a little. These folks have ingeniously taken a molded hot tub which is usually dig into the ground or had a nice deck built around it and just slapped a swimming pool ladder next to it and called it good!
We saw similar signs welcoming hunters all along our trip. However, this sign welcomed hunters to a slightly different business . . .
We had a big group at our two day stockmanship school in Bismarck, ND. Click here for more photos.
