Richard, Garland and I went on my first overnight canoe trip on Mother's Day weekend, 2004.

Richard packs the canoe with all our goodies.

Doing some re-packing.

Garland in the kayak again.

We canoed up a short stream to a lovely cave.

Our boats at the end of the stream by the cave.

Garland looking out over the creek coming out of the cave.

Garland fell and cut his leg. He was tough!

Richard and I sunk the canoe and all the camp gear, some of which got wet. Luckily, it was a nice, warm day, so the stuff dryed out nicely when we got to camp.

Sunset at camp.

Dinner was GREAT!
