Snow in Northern Missouri

Richard and I drove to Bethany, Missouri for the funeral of the father of one of Richard’s hunting buddies there.


This was along I35 north out of Kansas City. Notice the fog obscuring the top of the tower behind the old shed.

Postprocessed Weed


I tinkered with a photo I took of this weed this morning. The light was bad (very cloudy) and the contrast was low.


However, with just a little tinkering in Lightroom I had this!

Past Lives

Today Richard and I had to drive to Lockwood, so we took the chance to drive by


. . . the house where Justin was born in Dadeville . . . (yes, I do mean actually born there)


. . . and the house where Jennifer was born (again, yes, born in that house, in fact, in the room you can see right there) between Everton and Greenfield.

Reflection in Drop Cropped Close


We have wind chime on the front porch with a crystal on it, and there was a drop of rain-water on the bottom of the crystal. I took a macro photo of the drop and then cropped that even closer. Look closely and you can see the trees in the yard reflected in the drop of water!
