We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Happy Birthday Performance!

Mark Sparks, performer extraordinaire, and Delilah’s unofficial Grandpa, gave a birthday performance to the Sunshine Preschool classes today.

Thanks so much Mark! What a special treat for us all!

Delilah got to assist with the “where’s the yellow scarf” trick.

After the performance the kids went back to their own classes, and it was snack time. Bryce was first to sit down and share in the goodies with his sister’s class!

Temperature Shift Today

This morning is was SO lovely! The temperature was in the low 60s with a pretty stiff wind from the west, southwest. I knew a change was coming, so I got my outside work done (including hauling ashes from the wood stove), opened the house to enjoy the fresh air, and waited. About 10:30 am I shut the doors to the outside because the wind was howling through the house. It was still over 60 degrees then. At noon Jessica called asking whether it was going to snow today since it was so cold. I said something about it being in the 60s, and she said, not any more! I went out onto the porch and found that the cold front HAD came through! It was 34 degrees with a bone-chilling north wind furiously blowing!

I decided it was time to build a fire so I don’t get too far behind on the heat as the cold sifts into the house!

That’s the great thing about living in Missouri. If you don’t like the weather now, just wait a couple of hours and it will be different!

Are we too Dependent on our Computers?

This just proves that we have become too dependent on our computers.

How a Woman’s Brain Works

Every one of those little blue balls is a thought about something that needs to be done, a decision, or a problem that needs to be solved.

A man, of course, has only two balls, and they take up all his thoughts.

I’m now on WunderPhotos!
