Here we are right after Church: Tina, John, Jennifer (obscured), Jessica,
Delilah (yes, she's crying!), Justin, Rev. Haubein, and Kay Monk (other sponsor).
After church we had a lovely party at our house with lots of food and fellowship.
![]() Georgia Haubein (wife of the pastor) showed Delilah how experienced Grandmas hold babies while Terri Dye looks on. |

![]() Delilah held "court" during most of the party from the "nursing chair." John and his girlfriend Laura supervise. Friends couldn't believe Dee could sleep through all the noise of the party, but she's used to commotion in our house! |

We forgot to get a close-up photo of Dee in the baptism gown and booties I
crocheted for her, so we took it today, March 11. The little hat was given
Dee while she was still in the hospital with the following verse:
I'm just a little hanky, as square as square can be,
But with a stitch or two, they made a bonnet out of me.
I'll be worn home from the hospital, and on Christening Day,
Then I'll be carefully pressed, and neatly put away.
Then on the wedding day, so we have always been told,
Every well dressed bride must have that something old.
So what would be more fitting than to find little old me,
A few stitches snipped, and a wedding hanky I'll be.
And if per chance it is a boy, someday he will wed,
So to his bride, he can present this hanky, once worn upon his head.
