First, a little background on this video as it's (slowly) loading. This year at the Ozark Empire Fair, three drummers perform their act on trash cans, pots, pans and 5 gallon plastic jugs. During a break between shows, Delilah was entertaining herself with a drumstick. She wasn't too into making sound with it, but decided she'd put them into the jug. Interestingly enough, from the first stick, she put them in small end first. We watched her fill the jug two or three times, each stick small end first, before I thought to get the camera out and video it. We threw in a ringer, a drumstick with both ends the same size. It didn't faze her, she just looked at it, and put it in the jug. When she put the first stick in and tried to reach in to get it out, her hand couldn't fit. She didn't hesitate a second before unpending the jug to empty them out. Of course, as well as being the cutest, she's the smartest grandbaby in the world!

Jessica is working the pots and pans again this year.

And here's the drummer boys Delilah plays with.

They have lots of fun with their act.

On Thursday I took more photos of the drummers as they need some new promo shots. I happened to notice the lovely lady in the background of the shot, and knowing these were young, red-blooded, American boys, I . . .

. . . got a nice zoom close-up. Dave, one of the drummers, thought this might be a good desktop photo of "Drummer Groupie." Unfortunately, she didn't stick around after the show!

Delilah toured the petting zoo with "Grandma" Susan!

And, the biggest news of the fair (for the kids!), Jessica and Delilah pose with a member of the rock group "Saliva" which performed at the fair. Click here for more info on them.
