We came close to not making our 7 am flight from Kansas City. When making the reservations on-line, 7 am didn't seem that early, until we realized we had to drive 3 hours to get to the airport! Then, a new interstate exchange and new long-term parking lot at the airport set us back even more. We made it to the gate before they shut the doors though!

Here we are, finally relaxing from the long, exciting morning, at Denver airport between flights.

Here's the Rocky Mountains from the Denver airport window.

Bonnie picked us up at the airport and drove us to Sue's house.

Sue has a great moveable chicken house. Richard wanted several photos as he might build one to help spread the cow manure around.

Sue doesn't really like getting her picture taken, even with her "little" sister!

Beth took this great photo of Richard and I.

On Saturday we all drove into Portland to have lunch with Bonnie, Denise, John and Zoe. Owen and Kris were off at the National Go-Kart championship (they ultimately won second place!!!).

Richard drew out a "perfect" corral design for Doug and Sue.

Zoe entertained us all!
