I got my new Pentax K-5 DSLR yesterday! I charged the battery last night and unpacked everything and put it all together this morning! I’m using Mom’s old lenses which means it’s all manual focus. Which, with my poor eyesight is a little difficult. However, I have a full set of the main lenses you need for nothing (THANKS Mom!!) and so I can use them while I save up for better lenses (or just keep using these!).
I took this shot of Sadie, our cat, using a short depth of field and luck with the focusing!
