We had a great trip getting to Saskatoon yesterday. The drive to Kansas City was smooth, both flights (KCI to Minneapolis and Minneapolis to Saskatoon) were without incident. We even made it through customs with ease as soon as Richard clarified that “Stockmanship” didn’t have anything to do with the stock market!
Adele of the Farm Animal Council of Saskatchewan showed us some of the highlights of Saskatoon and the surrounding area this afternoon.

This is the Delta Bessborough hotel built in the 1930s by a government program similar to the WPA or CCC in the US.

This is my first trip to Canada, the top flag is different from at home!

Here’s the hotel from the river side.

The dairy barn at the University was huge and lovely!

We drove south of Saskatoon a bit and saw some lovely country.
Richard speaks tomorrow here in Saskatoon and then Friday in Regina.
