We returned home to find two more lovely heifer calves. What are the odds of using a bull with the plans of breeding replacement heifers and getting ALL heifer calves? That’s what’s happened to Richard!!! Well, I take that back, out of ten calves sired by Buck—the Beefmaster bull—there was one bull calf (so far). Just three more cows to calve now.
