About two weeks ago a little plastic piece on the battery lid of my digital camera broke. This meant the judicious use of strapping tape to keep the battery lid securely closed so the camera would work. Well, since I’m heading to California for my 30th Reunion on Monday, I was not going to go with a camera that might not function completely! So, I called the local camera store, read reviews on-line, and finally decided on buying the Canon PowerShot S3 from B&H Photo. We got it on Wednesday, and I’m confident I’m really going to like it! It’s got a lot of bells and whistles that I’d like to learn how to use before I get into the thick of photo taking. Maybe on the flight to California?
