Major Thawing

The forecast had called for 6-10 inches of snow last night. Luckily (and as usual), the weather man was incredibly wrong. We got about an inch of ice/slush and then it warmed to about 36 degrees and it’s all melting gloriously. Richard and I moved the cows back to pasture since it’s now soft enough for them to eat through. We also managed to get at least some of the electric fence (around the cows) back up and running. That was really heartening.

Now Richard and I are getting ready for our next Stockmanship show in Columbia Tuesday! I just hope the electricity stays on.
