Richard called me as he was leaving for work because he saw this black snake climbing up the pole into this old birdhouse. By the time I got out with the camera, he was fully inside the bird house and the former occupants (well, those who were able anyway) were sitting on the fence outside quite upset with the snake. |

And here he’s looking me over to see what sort of threat I’m going to be to his house-breaking. I guess black snakes are good for the environment, they eat mice and rats and stuff like that . . . but I still don’t like snakes!
