Richard was supposed to work today, so we got up at the usual time and went to the back porch to see how things were. The back steps were covered with ice, not a good start! We turned on the TV and watched people slide off the roads, saw the radar showing ice thunderstorms and warnings and all that, and heard all the school closings. About the time Richard decided he’d just stay home, his boss called and said the office would be closed today! It’s a great day to sit by the fire and work on movies for our presentations coming up in West Virginia next week!
I’ll probably take photo excursions through the day documenting how things are. At this point it’s really hard to tell whether it’s going to continue icing or rain or snow or sleet or just what! We are set regardless of what it does!
