Following are the photos I’ve entered in the Ozark Empire Fair this year. Results will be posted on the OEF web page on Thursday morning July 24 (the fair starts Friday). Then I’ll also be participating in the e-photo and “Elvis at the Fair” contests like I did last year. They will be from photos I will take at the first day of the fair and submit by email.

 Class 303, Animals, Birds, fish, insects, reptiles. I shot this Tufted Titmouse out of our living room window in January when they came close to eat from the feeder. |
 Class 306: Country, capture the flavor of a country setting. I took this sunset shot of our hay bales and feeders lines up waiting to be needed. Note the ice on the fence. |

 Class 611: Photo with text, subject other than people. This is a fence post and neat weeds on our lane. The text reads, “Don’t ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up. —Robert Frost |
 Class 612: Photo with digitally manipulated color(s). This is a sunrise photo right near our house with the neat colors reflecting in the pond, then I made everything except the pond sepia tone. The process of making is smaller for the web put an odd line around the pond that’s not there in the printed photo. |
 Class 613: Photo collage: 3 or more different images digitally arranged as one print. The top row (BIRDS) I took out our living room window during ice storms. The bottom row (ICE) are just general ice photos I took. |
 Class 614: Photo kaleidoscope of the same image used multiple times in one print. This is a fireworks photo I took at the Bolivar Fourth of July fireworks show. It’s manipulated in a purely mathematical way. Each rotation is 10 degrees, each image is 150 points shorter, and each fade is 7 % from the upright/left image to the horizontal/lower right image. |
