Richard picked me up at the Kansas City airport from my Chicago flight and we headed west and north. We spent the night in Winner, SD, and had a great drive on north through South Dakota, North Dakota, and an hour into Saskatchewan.
The sunflower fields are awesome. Richard stopped so I could photo this one facing the morning sun.
This VERY cool cloud bank went right over us.
Richard shot this one his car window while we stopped to let it go over us (quickly!).
Now it’s completely over the sun and almost over us.
