Here we are for the group picture before we started out from Scott and Rondle’s house in Appleton City, 8:14 am.
There were LOTS of people there, 10:47 am

They had a cutaway racecar so we could see what’s inside them. Lots of safety features to keep the drivers safe!

When we sat down there weren’t too many people in the stands at 11:28am. That would change!

Very interesting how quickly they cleared the infield of the folks who paid extra to view the concert and driver intros at 12:44 pm.

I missed when Jeff Gordon’s motor blew, but you can see it still spewing smoke here! He just made it around one more time to get to pit road to take it back to the barns, just 3 laps short of finishing the race!!
Here’s the cloud of smoke after Jimmy Johnson’s burnout after winning the race! His car was great today and in the lead most of the race.
Getting up, collecting their gear, and getting ready to head to the parking lot along with the other 90,000 or so race fans!!
