Richard called me from his drive to work and said I needed to get out on the road near the corner of the farm and shoot the sunrise from there as the trees showing through the fog was GREAT! He was right!

If you look closely you can see the sliver of the new moon in the upper center.

ALWAYS look to the west when shooting the sunrise, there might be something neat there! And there was! If I print this I will square it up!

The sun is getting closer.

The sun peaks out!

Some cool rays in the fog!

I’m not sure what led to this neat sun effect, but I like it!

I had my eye on this weed with dew-drops on it, so I moved the tripod closer and set it to macro.

I think this one is awesome!!! I can’t wait to print it out!

Here’s another shot with different line-up of the sun and the dew-drop.

I love the way the sun is in the perfect upper corner of this final shot of the morning!
