Jessica was able to "Kangaroo Kare" Caris this evening which meant 3 hours of skin-to-skin holding. This gives Caris that much-needed "human" contact, regulation of breathing and heart rate, exposure to "good" bacteria, something great to smell and just a better sense that life isn't all getting poked and prodded!
