Humboldt Botanical Garden

I had to decide whether to drive through Petrolia and back to 101 on my way to Ft. Bragg or not. I decided not, and so that gave me time to visit this lovely botanical garden!

Mom and Dad worked for Art Ford and his son John many years.
I think this is looking over the ranch we lived at in 1960 named Salmon Creek just south of Eureka.
This flower was VERY photogenic!
This flower was photogenic too!
