I got up early to photo my last sunrise at Niagara Falls! I thought the clouds would be just perfect for a glorious sunrise!
Finally saw some red in the sky. But, the clouds were getting thicker.
About here I realized the sun was up and behind the clouds and the photo op was over. But, since I didn’t have to rush back to the hotel, I thought I’d just stay and see what happened.
I finally saw these little bits of red through the clouds and wondered if more gaps might appear?
This pink color on the clouds started from my right and moved into view.
Then the clouds thinned out even more and I could see more and more light.
Finally some of the “God’s rays” made it through the clouds, and I was really glad I had stayed and waited!!
Finally the clouds move out to where more and more of the sun comes through!

Then got some light on the falls! Glorious!
And I ended with a shot back down-river.
