 We finished the Burlington, CO, stockmanship school about 4 pm and decided to drive all the way to Denver to be closer to fly out at 11:30 am Sunday. We had originally planned to just drive half way, but the weather forecast was for a good bit of snow, the highway wasn’t too bad (see above), and we thought it better to drive when we could!  By the time we got to Denver and found a hotel, it was snowing pretty hard. We drove across the street to a restaurant, ate, came out of the restaurant, and our tracks walking in were almost totally obscured from the snow that had fallen since we walked in! Here’s Richard getting out of the car at the hotel. I said “Smile Honey!” I’m not sure if he was smiling or not. |
