Our flights from Denver to Minneapolis to Kansas City were on time and good. Here’s some neat photos of the sunset over the cloud bank!

Our drive from Kansas City home wasn’t too bad. The roads were mostly covered with a very thin layer of ice that was easy to drive on as long as you were careful. Traffic was light (gee, wonder why?), and Richard’s a good driver. We stopped in Clinton to stock up on supplies and made it home by about 10:30 pm. Most of the folks in our area still have electricity, and the ice on the limbs and power lines isn’t too heavy. We have time to get ready for the heavier freezing rain due in tomorrow!
